How a titled recluse connected to the RISE vibe...

that initiated a new contact plus a fresh outlook to life.

Sometimes in life you meet the most interesting of people in the strangest of circumstances. People that you never imagined that you would meet.

Not too long ago an email arrived into the RISE inbox. The email stated that the sender had been following my blogs and was reading the daily’s that gets sent out every day with a specific message for each day.

The correspondence mentioned that the reader was in bereavement and was looking for a ‘something’ to help alleviate the devastation that had occurred in her life. A response was sent informing the sender that bereavement counselling was not one of the areas that the RISE coaching packages was specific in, but by forwarding a link to the RISE mental health articles it might help the reader.  In addition I was able to offer a recommended specialist mental health consultant in London.

A reply returned stating a thank you for the RISE mental health articles and the enjoyment of the RISE daily’s. The main reason for initiating the contact was so that the reader felt able to take a first step out of her recluse, that she had been in for some time, due to the death of her only son whom she lived her life through. She was considerably rich, had a title and had come to the conclusion that she felt connected to RISE coaching and myself.  So much so that she felt a kindred spirit through the vibe of my writings. That she wanted to take a step into the world and meet new people, through people that held interests to her own.

It took a few correspondences to ascertain the level of interaction that she would feel comfortable at in a bespoke RISE package. Finally she agreed on a RISE coaching and support package that she was happy to engage with. The package being fluid enabled a transformation that fitted in well with her managing a long duration of bereavement. A bereavement that she wanted to handle in her own way in her own time, with people that she wanted in her life.

This was a second chance at life. A second chance at letting a small part of the world into her world. A chance for her to receive. A chance for her to give.

As the contact between the two of us grew I began to realise the scope of her connections in the higher echelons of society. Each day that we connect there is a new learning for us both. It is exhilarating. It is fresh. It is fun. It opens up new avenues. We grow from the special relationship that is being formed. We understand more about each other’s life. We recognise the privileges of life and our duty to do something good with it through our intentions and actions.
