UHNW and HNW Women: Who are you? Part 4

UHNW and HNW Women Face Everything And RISE Coaching

THE YEAR 2018 - Your Blunders As An Entrepreneur

or, As A Highly Paid Company Department Head

YOU are a new UHNW or HNW Woman with an online presence. You are liking your affluence. Your opulent lifestyle. Your new ventures and meetings with other like-minded women. You are different from the traditional Westernised imagery of what a wealthy, influential woman should look like. Speak like. Behave like. You have done things YOUR way and accomplished this position in life through sheer hard work and trawling through the bullshit of the expectations / put downs by others. Your difference was not a hindrance, in fact it was the catalyst to your fortune. This is what ‘they’ did not want you to see, to experience, to become. This powerful, rich, influential woman who is DIFFERENT.

Yet you made blunders… (All in the name of progress and on-going learning)

1. You Blew £’x’,000 On Testing Bullshit

There was that time in 2018 where you could not stop kicking yourself for the sheer folly in spending £’x’,000 just to try out an idea that quite honestly did not need to be ventured into. What you were doing was working well. All the same, the curiosity (and the greed for wanting more) took a hold and you gave away your money and time to… To what exactly? You still do not know. Anyway, you did it and you REALLY learned from the experience. Time for you to stop being a Slap Down Sister to yourself. Someone else has your cash in their pockets now. Step away from the memory and breathe.

You cannot step away from the memory just yet? I understand how it hurts when something like this happens. You spent time and money on testing out some Internet Marketing guru’s programme from their ‘free value’ webinars (HINT: Most are Ponzi schemes at their core, littering the World Wide Web with pure unfiltered bullshit). You should have known better. You should have listened to your gut instinct. You should have listened to your purse when it questioned the need for you to exercise your credit card yet again on a novice idea. You were well and truly duped. They got your name! They got your number!

You tested new landing page formats (even though yours were already converting at 80%+)

You tested new ad images (even though your return on ad spend was over 90%)

You tried new launch strategies (even though your own launches were routinely hitting the mark)

Never mind. At least YOU proved to yourself that your system worked better than a combination of the bullshit strategies littering the WWW.

That knowledge is worth £’x’,000… right? RIGHT???

Now it really is time for you to step away from the memory and breathe.

2. When You Tried Adding a YOU Touch To Everything Even When It Was Not Needed

You had been through much in 2018 and as such you felt the need to keep a control on things. Such as insisting on adding a YOU personality touch to everything when you really did not need to. Particularly things that you and your small team were just recycling from previous launches or were simply routine.

YOU DID NOT NEED:

(a) to schedule all emails,

(b) to write, schedule, design and post all your social media; ignoring the capable assistance from a team member,

(c) to create automations that you have used a dozen times before,

(d) to create landing pages that were just duplicates of previous ones (WTF!)

(e) to [insert your name here]-fy everything.

Some things do not need you and in fact that YOU touch you were so insistent on adding was more like a skid mark, delaying things + making everyone in the team suffer.

So guess what. You have ‘wised up’. Not like a wise guy, or a wisenheimer. But a tad more wiser than before.

3. When You Temporarily Forgot That People Do NOT Value Free

Remember during 2018 when you came up with a genius idea for your service/product.

It really was a genius idea and people were waiting with their credit cards open when you shared a teaser to entice them to the service/product.

Your blunder?

Bundling it as FREE with an existing service/product.

It helped you to sell a further number of your existing service/product but no one really appreciated the genius thinking behind the idea. A majority of people took the FREE for granted and there was very little participation.

Eventually, after a few months, you admitted to yourself that it was a dodo and killed it.

Your life lesson learned: Only offer genius ideas for money. Even if it is a small amount, so that people value it enough to use it.
