UHNW and HNW Women: Who are you? Part 1

UHNW and HNW Women Face Everything And RISE Coaching

WHO ARE YOU?

Another year has ended for you. What did the previous year hold for you? Did it cater to all your wishes? Did it cater to all your whims? Did it cater to all your personal, professional, social issues? Just what did you receive from the past year?

Did all your wishes, or intentions, come true?

You are an affluent woman. You hold influence; in its truest meaning. You hold power in the very being of who you are. You live in luxury. You live in opulence. You live in exclusivity. You live as you choose to live; for most of the time. You live your life at the levels that you choose to live. After all, you are an affluent woman and you can afford to. Even if you choose to live like a hermit. Even if you choose to live like a penny pincher.

Yet, you still ask the question? The one that keeps recurring is about who you are. Why are you here? What is your worth to society? To your profession? To your business interests? To others? To yourself?

How ruthlessly unadorned, candid and creditable can you be with yourself? As you review the past year are you taking yourself on a journey through your moments of despair, genius, being autistic, being an introvert, being shy, of how you managed your mental health illness? As such are you prone to being incredibly disrespectful and mildly unbalanced about yourself when reviewing the past year?

Has the assessment of the past year ruffles some feathers in your psyche? Has it tickled your nose and made you smile to yourself? Did you go on that journey of slowly falling apart from one instance that caused you angst? Where did it happen again? Oh yes, at a social situation. A business situation. A private situation. Now, as the new year has begun you want to take your review of the past year and make a solid game plan of YOURSELF if you still want to survive and thrive in your private life, business life and social life. Whatever the mayhem was from the past year you want the benefits to come through for you now.

You do not want to continue with business as usual and stay stuck in a groove of going nowhere. With life pouring through your fingers. You and I both know that hustling to keep your sanity in balance is not the object for you, as this hamster wheel of going nowhere is not what you want to be treading upon. It serves no purpose for you. It degrades your mental balance. Your psyche. You do not want things to spill over when you have no back up plan.

If the last year was anything like an assassin where it had you at the knee caps and made you want to confess to anything just to be free from the torture of the pain, then you are not alone. Many dreams were killed off, burnt at the stake, drowned… You get the picture.

The last year was a hard year… for many UHNW and HNW women as you. This is what you told me.

- Social media assholery was aplenty

- Business costs were colossal

- Attention spans were unbelievably flimsy… limp even!

- Competition (professionally, socially and personally) was rampant like Pirates of the Caribbean and prolific

- Plus more… much more. Including how the last year was like a leprous fairy godmother… having good intentions… but untouchable… being giving... but also being deranged.

The last year made you wonderful affluent women question your tactics (and your sanity) at least once a week. Keeping you on your toes as you navigated the changes in your life (business, professional, social and personal). You took time out to trawl through the so-called ‘gurus’, ‘specialists’, ‘experts’, Internet Gods and keyboard warriors with and without your assistant(s).

The jewels in the crown for you paid off big time. For some of you last year was a time to:

1. Stop this, then, Start that.

2. Ditch this, then, Do that.

3. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

In other words, the last year; as you were dealing with your shyness, being an introvert or coping with your autism, was about recalibration of WHAT you were doing, WHY you were doing things, WHEN you were doing things and HOW you were doing things.

You were looking at methods/techniques to enhancing your life through better well-being. Looking at tangible and intangible assets. You recalibrated:

+ your business models

+ your professional stance

+ your social standing

+ your personal attributes

+ your value

+ your propositions

+ your offers

+ your life structure

+ your brand

+ your equities

+ your decisions

+ Plus, everything in between in order to be true to you in heart, mind and soul. The essence of WHO you truly are.

Not all of you recalibrated. Those affluent women; and you know who you are, who decided to stubbornly stick to your old ways ended the last year:

- having insufficient wealth to meet the necessities or comforts in your life

- being deficient to live in a manner considered by affluent others as unacceptable in the society that you move within

- causing sorrow or gloom to others

- being deplorable and sombre

- declaring a part of your life as dead

So the question is WHO are you? You are an affluent woman. YET… You are different in appearance. You come from a different background. You come with different belief systems. You come with different points of view. You come with mental health issues. You come with mindset blocks. You come as a child from shyness. You come as an introverted adult. You come with autism. You come from a broken marriage; or set of marriages. You come from an unwanted relationship. You come from poverty to riches. You come from an ethos of hard work, survival and overcoming. You come as you are. A rough diamond. A polished gemstone. You come with wanting something different to help you to the next level… wherever that level lays. You come with wanting to connect with something or someone pleasingly specific. Particular. Unique. Distinctive. Personable. Yielding. Precise. Explanatory. Distinguishable. Pleasing. Substantial. Defined. Amusing. Special. POSITIVE!!! This is what you come into the new year with. (A nifty ‘little’ tattoo on your arm to help you stay on track of your path. Better and more useful on your arm, as opposed to having it on your backside or your forehead! FACT!)

No matter how affluent you are (either from birth, marriage; or another relationship structure, or self made wealth with value and worth) you will have gone through a belief system, personal issues and a myriad of other psychological and physical impacts. Internal impacts, for example confidence issues, likeability issues, trust issues, self worth issues, love issues, intellectual issues, professional issues, motivational issues, loneliness issues, mental health issues, mindset issues, etc. Likewise there are external impacts, such as ethnicity issues, race issues, body issues, dietary issues, hair colour issues, health issues, skin colour issues, appearance issues, cultural issues, beauty issues, etiquette issues, society issues, drink issues, food issues, exercise issues, financial issues, family issues, friendship issues, etc.

Below is a short(ish) list of affluent women who have had their own demons to deal with. Some have also had the demons of their partner to cope with. Rich or poor there are always demons to manage in life.
